Re: Mobile Photo Post
You're too kind.
I'm hoping other members will jump in and post their photos here as well ... on some forums, photo threads go hundreds of pages and rack up thousands of views.
If you need a free place to store your pics, https://www.photobucket.com allows hot-linking - i.e., you first upload your pics to Photobucket and then hot-link them back to the forum. If anybody needs help with this, please let me know!
I work for peanuts ... and free porn.

Re: Mobile Photo Post
^ Zdravo! Exactly.
As long as you pay attention to the optics of the particular mobile phone you're looking at - i.e., Carl Zeiss, Schneider-Kreuznach, Cyber-shot, etc, yes, there are some very good mobile cameraphones on the market today, and more on the way. In the coming year, we will also see the megapixel count jump from an industry-wide standard of roughly 5 at the moment - to 8 - and coming soon, even 12. The Sony Satio, for example, will be out some time later this year, and will feature a 12 megapixel digital camera with Xenon flash, a gorgeous 3.5 inch touchscreen and a host of advanced editing features. Samsung is also bringing out a 12 megapixel mobile, the Pixon 12. Nokia, Samsung and LG are the big players at the moment, but the field is continuing to grow, with companies like Sharp jumping into the game with the AQUOS SHOT 933SH, a sexy clamshell phone with a ten megapixel wide-angle lens, CCD image sensor and 3.3 inch swivel screen. Nokia is also upping the ante from five to eight megapixels with the brand new N86, which should be on store shelves any day now.
It's also very cool to have an internet browser, MP3 player, games and phone all wrapped up together in the same package with a decent camera. I'm sold on the idea, although I would also like to point out that people tend to praise cameras for taking good photos, when, in fact, it is the person behind the camera that turns an ordinary scene into a great photo. A hi-tech camera helps, but at the end of the day, it is the eye of the photographer, a steady hand and a little luck that turns a good photo into a great one, imho. Now feast your eyes on these babies ...
