but tv coverage of disasters (natural and man made) have dehumanised whats happened and most people dont empathise as much as they should

i dont think you understand what im saying.........im not just talking about whats happened in italy but globally ...people are getting desensitized they see the pictures but dont feel the pain........i still get chills when i think about the tsunami in thailand and indonesia cos ive been there ive met the people .......am i making sense?
